High school can be tough. Between classes, sports, jobs and the never-ending search for the perfect prom dress, it's easy to feel like you're drowning in a sea of stress. But don't worry, I'm here to help you capture this special moment in your life with ease! I know, I know - getting your senior photos taken can be nerve-wracking. But trust me, we're going to have a blast. Just think of me as your best new hype girl who just happens to have a camera.
During your session, we'll chat about everything from your favorite Netflix shows to your dreams for the future. And when it's time to get in front of the camera, I'll be there to guide you every step of the way. No awkward poses or cheesy smiles (well maybe just a few because Grandma likes those ones) - but mostly just pure, unadulterated you.
And mom? I know how bittersweet it can be to watch your baby grow up and graduate high school. It's a moment that you've been waiting for, but it also means that your child is taking the first steps towards adulthood. I know you want to preserve this time with your baby as well. Since becoming a mom myself, I truly understand the importance of taking photos of your child during the last year (maybe? hopefully?) that they will be at home with you. Thinking about that with my own babies makes me get all teary eyed and my oldest is only 3! Ha! =D You'll have photos showing their unique personality and infectious smile. You'll have these beautiful photos to remember just what this season of life was like forever.

I knew nothing about Mariah when my daughter insisted we use her for her Senior pictures. Mariah was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. She made my daughter feel comfortable, provided fun music during the shoot and suggested a fantastic location for the pictures. She is professional and confident in her craft and has good eye for seeing a perfect photo opportunity. In addition, she has an amazing talent to work with natural light. My daughter and I both are thrilled with the photos, which are not only beautiful and unique, but she captured my daughter's personality perfectly. I would use Mariah in the future again and again!

Because let's face it, being in front of a camera can be nerve-wracking. But I'm here to make sure that doesn't happen. My approach is laid-back, casual, and fun. We'll chat, we'll laugh, we'll dance to your favorite songs (if you want to, of course!), and before you know it, you'll forget that there's even a camera there.
I want you to leave our session feeling like you just hung out with a friend - a friend who also happens to be a kick-ass photographer. ;) You should feel beautiful, empowered, and like your true self was captured in every shot. And I know...you're thinking...."but i'm awkward!"..."I don't know how to pose"..."I don't know how to take pictures"....literally everyone says that and I promise you- you won't look awkward! I will help you pick out your outfits. We'll pick an awesome location to match. I'll tell you exactly what to do while we shoot and how to pose and give you plenty of direction. I got you ;) If something looks awkward, I'll tell you and we will switch it up! If your hair is messed up, I'll fix it. Got lot's of crazy baby hairs? I'll brush them out of the way. Just trust me and don't worry. You will do great and look great!
